1953 - Construction of the original Sand Greens Steinbach Golf Club started at the Fairgrounds
1954 - Golf Course opens for play (June)
1967 - Land is purchased from Henry A. Reimer to build a new Golf Course
1968 - Construction begins on original 9 holes at currents location (Back 9)
1970 - 9 Hole Course opens for play (Spring)
1971 - Grand Opening/Premier Ed Scheyer cuts the ribbon
1978 - Bill Ibey hired as first licensed Superintendent - Larry Robinson hired as Club's first Golf Professional
1979 - Rob Fast hired as Superintendent
1980 - Lease Agreement obtained by Town of Steinbach to expand Golf Course to 18 Holes
1981 - Construction begins on 2nd 9 Holes (Current Front 9)
1982 - Les Dunville hired as Superintendent
1983 - Playing as 18 Hole Golf Course (Spring)
1984 - Clubhouse built on Park Road (Pizza Hut Building) - Layout changes to current course (Holes 1-18)
1985 - Rob Fast hired as Superintendent
1988 - New Automated Irrigation system installed
1994 - New construction of Hole 1 and 2 completed
2000 - Current Clubhouse is constructed
2003 - Drainage Project on Back 9 completed (Holes 13, 15, 16)
2004 - Brian Guenther is hired as Golf Professional
2008 - New artesian well drilled for Front 9
2010 - New artesian well drilled for Back 9
2014 - Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club Celebrates its 60th Anniversary
